Went to have new shocks installed, at the front mechanic found the upper shock mounts broken and it was late in the day so had to wait till the next day for parts house to get parts. Drove the truck home, sounded like the entire front end was about to come loose and fall out. Next day took back to mechanic he replaced the mounts and all is well, like a brand new truck. Moral of this story , Nissan has a funky set up in the upper swing arm (most trucks the shock bolts directly into the swing arm, no extra parts needed) to hold the shock and the thing will wear out and break! So replace these when you you get new shocks. They are 30 to 40 buck each and well worth the extra expense.
