CarComplaints.com Notes: For years, Nissan trucks and SUVs have had problems with coolant destroying the transmission. And for years, Nissan has done nothing about it.

I took my 2007 Nissan Frontier to the Nissan Dealership in Seaside, California to replace a seal on the right rear differential which was barely leaking. They called me to tell me that they could replace it for $443.00 dollars, to which I agreed to fix. However, when I drove it 40 miles I heard a horrible grinding sounding noise coming from the passenger side differential which I had not heard from before. In reviewing the receipt I noticed that they were not honest, in that they wrote on the receipt that I needed a new axle assembly, which was not what they told me over the phone and when I decided to pay for the replaced of the seal. The dealership at Nissan in Seaside, not only misled me, but they made the problem a lot worse. I am going to take them to court.
