CarComplaints.com Notes: For years, Nissan trucks and SUVs have had problems with coolant destroying the transmission. And for years, Nissan has done nothing about it.
The 2007 is no different than the 2006 and 2005. Just avoid it.

It was chippy looking when I bought it in 2019, but it ran great. So I bought some paint chip fixer in hopes that it would take care of it. It barely uses gas and really is a great truck. This past summer more of the paint started flaking around the windshield. Then I noticed the inside of the bed - OMG it was like a shag bark hickory tree! It was so bad that I climbed in with a broom and swept it out. I realized when I got the emblem recall notice, that maybe others had had this paint problem. My emblem isn't broken, but when my year is OK'd to go I will be taking it to the dealership. It's a great running truck, but the paint really sucks. Almost like it never got a topcoat.
