CarComplaints.com Notes: Radiators are still cracking, leaking coolant and destroying transmissions. Which is a shame when you consider that otherwise, this would be a great small pickup truck.

Took my 2006 Nissan Frontier to local transmission shop with problems clunking from park to reverse and vibration shudder at 40-45 mph when shifting into overdrive. Shop replaced the driveshaft and the clunking problem was cured. However I still have the shudder strip problem with A/T usually around 45 mph. Now what? The truck has 130,000 miles on the odometer.
Update from May 8, 2019: 137,000 miles (5/8/2019)--Truck is in Mike's Transmission in Baton Rouge, LA. Just got a call from the shop that the transmission is filled with water. Estimated cost to repair, install transmission cooler, internal computer valve, by-pass radiator transmission cooler.....Estimated cost=$3200
