CarComplaints.com Notes: Radiators are still cracking, leaking coolant and destroying transmissions. Which is a shame when you consider that otherwise, this would be a great small pickup truck.

Ok, this one I really gotta vent. Because you wouldn't BELIEVE the circumstances. Driving through Colorado, doing some skiing, everything's honky dorey. Literally right when I hit the entrance of Eisenhower Tunnel on I-70, the engine QUITS. Like dead. Done. No mas. I shift into neutral, start smelling some weird stuff pull over, INSIDE THE FREAKING TUNNEL, mind you. Anywho, highway patrol comes on out and literally ends up ramming us out of the tunnel (since they're not allowed to tow in the tunnel)... gosh what a nightmare.
Get her back 700 miles to home. Shotgun the alternator (changed it out, thinking it was electrical)... but nothing! 3 months later, she shut down in the middle of the hood in my city. So while I'm getting cussed the frik out looking like a dunce cap, I get the brilliant idea to run the OBD II on it. Took about 7 months to diagnose back to the crank position sensor. Finally replaced that and it at least hasn't shut down on me again. At this point, with this truck, I'm just waiting for the next expensive repair to come along because this has been the worst vehicle ownership experience of my life. I'm $6000 into this turd and I can't flush it!
