Bought new, not abused.
simple tailgate locking assembly fails or binds out of position, breaks plastic tabs. Have to remove cover plate to manhandle latching rods to open tailgate.
Initially replaced with Nissan original parts, new parts did same thing. Replaced over years with off brands with same result.
yea all this time I've manually opened the tailgate.
I used several different locksmiths, not one has fixed it permanently.
I bought truck to use truck bed... with ease.
