This problem caused truck to fail state emissions test until corrected. I spent four hours to drop the tank clean the rust as best I could and replace O ring and remount the tank.
This is only a stop gap repair to get through state inspection. Eventually the tank will need to be replaced. The corrosion/rust problem is a known issue at Nissan that they choose to ignore.
