Nissan had the vehicle inspected by RACQ Glass who stated that a minute chip alone could not have caused the roof to crack However on closer inspection the so called stone chip appears to be a stress fracture that we deemed was caused by Nissan's Tow Truck when they damaged the vehicle when transporting it..
NRMA saw the vehicle prior to the damage from the tow truck and there report stated there was no impact point on the glass roof.
Nissan had one of there service people look at the car he claimed there were two stone impacts on the curve of the crack as in the image this does not show but when challenged this was disproved by the RACQ report.
What has Nissans response been to bury their heads and hope we go away
