I was at work in the parking lot with a backdoor full of my equipment to do a store demo. Now you need to understand that my equipment consists of two very large storage bins, a table that weighs 25 pounds, skillets, an ice container, mat, signs. I could not crawl through the backseat to pull it all out. I asked a gentleman that had just driven up to help me to get the backdoor unlocked and he tried everything, no luck! He then offered to crawl in and remove all of the equipment for me, place it in a store buggy and HE saved my life and weekend job. I don't even know his name but must be an angel in disguise. I was so shaken (my hands) and mind because this sort of thing had never happened. My daughter and I have always excellent service and we do not drive a lot so we have only a few miles for the year of the car. The Nissan dealership was not so friendly to me until they got my money. Then all smiles and well wishes. The part was less than 180.00 and the rest was labor, what a rip off!!! We also had a rear side light replaced, 30 something for the part, 70.99 for labor! Again, another big rip off. They saw this 75 almost 76 year old woman coming in. The car belongs to my disabled daughter and I am the one that drives it. She has turned it mostly over to me for my weekend job. I am furious with this Nissan organization's service department and the money they charged me and that was with 2 coupons that we begged for. It is called Auto Nation on Blanding Boulevard here in Jacksonville, FL.
We really do receive good service from the little Cube and have never had such a problem. I did call around and found out that I was the sixth Cube to be brought in lately with the same problem, doesn't make sense. Looks to me like a factory defect with hearing 6 Cubes being brought in and most all the 2010.
Can anything be done?????
