Bought this 09 Cube in Feb.10. Few months trouble free. May 2010 air bag malfunction. Dealer fixed , 2 days later air bag light on. In and out of shop for a year and a half for air bag trouble. They changed the censor 2wc. Finally air bags seem o.k. NOTE - drove for a year and a half without airbag protection!! Two months later, key light flashing. Dealer changed battery and charged me. This was on Jan 17, 12. On Jan.29/12, 18 year old daughter driving home pulled over to answer cell phone and shut cube off. She tried to re-start cube and it was "dead". While she sat there in a quandry, the cube went totally "Christine" every hazard light lit up, wipers front and rear started going, interior lights all on. We called a tow truck and brought it to the dealership. This vehicle has given us nothing but trouble. We do not want this faulty vehicle and want to trade it in. Nissan seems to be humouring us through all of these malfunctions. They don't provide us with a rental while ours is "down" If we were out of warrantee, we'd be screwed!! Electronic malfunctions are costly and we don't want to take a chance on this lemon any more. Why is Nissan fighting us "so hard" on the right to trade in this machine? We will stay with Nissan, just a different type or a newer cube!! They insist on fixing this piece of crap and giving it back to us.
