While adjusting the rear view mirror on my 2009 Nissan Cube the mirror bracket broke. It has broken twice now and not with excessive force. Replaced at dealer under warranty, dealer said that the problem is common and maybe Nissan will come up with a more permanent fix. As of now they just put same old defective type part in.
The contact owns a 2009 Nissan Cube. The contact stated that he has difficulty adjusting the side view mirrors while operating the vehicle, because the component is located at his knee level. Visibility impairment while driving increases the risk for vehicle crash. The vehicle was taken to the dealership for inspection.
