A knocking or ticking noise is coming from the engine fan coupling when the vehicle is operated at or below 32°F (0°C).
ACTION
1. Confirm this bulletin applies.
2. Check and compare your Current ECM Part Number to Table A on page 4.
3. If the part number does not match one in Table A, this bulletin does not apply. Go back to ASIST for further diagnostic and repair information.
4. If this bulletin applies, reprogram the ECM.
