The contact owns a 2010 Nissan Armada. While driving 35 mph, the contact struck a pothole and the front and rear overhead consoles all fell down at once. The contact pulled the vehicle over and attempted to repair the vehicle, but was unsuccessful. The contact took the vehicle to gwatney Buick GMC (5700 landers rd, North little rock, ar 72117, (501) 945-4444) and received a repair estimate. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 156,000.
I attempted to access the rear liftgate however, it failed to open after pushing unlock on the fob as well as unlocking manually on the interior door. Also attempted opening the glass hatch and that too does not unlock. Searching online shows this is a very common problem dating as far back as 2004. Club Armada forum suggests it is due to the faulty rear door lock actuator and/or faulty locking mechanism. The vehicle was not repaired yet but need to schedule an appointment and determine if it si covered under warranty.
The contact owns a 2010 Nissan amarda. The contact attempted to access the rear liftgate; however, it failed to open due to the faulty rear door lock actuator. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the problem. The approximate failure mileage was 44,100.
The contact owns a 2010 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds she heard a loud noise. After stopping her vehicle she saw that the overhead console that controls the temperature and plays dvd's had fallen with all the wires attached. The contact also stated that the console was approximately 3' long and 1' wide. The vehicle has not been inspected by a dealer or an independent mechanic. The manufacturer was not contacted. The contact feels as though if there were someone seating in the second and third row of the vehicle they would have been severely injured. The failure and current mileage was approximately 25,000.
