The calipers on the 2008 (and older) Armada's seem to wear the front brake pads unevenly. This causes uneven heat / wear on the rotors and eventually warps them. I began to noticed this problem (lots of vibration in the steering wheel while braking) at around 50,000 miles on my Armada SE. My brother noticed the problem at about 30,000 miles on his 2008 Armada LE. I had the rotors turned and front brake pads replaced. This has fixed the problem for now. Guess I'll have to replace the rotors next time.
