The contact owns a 2006 Nissan Armada. While driving approximately 45 mph, the contact noticed that the fuel gauge displayed quarter of a tank which was inaccurate. The vehicle began to hesitate and the engine shut off, as a result of a lack of gasoline in the fuel tank. The failure occurred on nine separate occasions at any speed rate. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer. The vehicle was not repaired for the malfunction. The failures occurred before the NHTSA campaign id number 10V074000 (fuel system, other: Storage: Fuel gauge system). The current and failure mileages were 45,000.
