While driving about 45 mph in the night time, suddenly dash board lights flashes very rapidly and stalls the engine. Luckily, no other car was next to us. We safely stopped the our 2004 Nissan Armada SUV on the side of road. After about 10~15 minutes, we tried to re-start the car, but no luck. After giving gas pedal several times, we could re-start the car. We drove home (about 5 miles in distance) safely. Next day, while my wife was driving to her parents' house, once again, with rapid flashing on the dash board, the engine dies while she was driving. We took to the Nissan dealership next morning, they said it would been no gas in the gas tank. We had more than 1/4 tankful of gas. While the service man was driving into the service bay, the car stalls in same manner. Then, they said it was the electrical part problem in the driver's side. Because of the safety issue, we have let Nissan dealer replaced the electrical part. Lets' see whether it fixed the problem.

The contact owns a 2004 Nissan Armada. The contact stated that the vehicle has electrical failure. The throttle shuts down and there is no acceleration control. The failure began intermittently a week after purchasing the vehicle; however, it has become progressively worse. The vehicle has been taken to Nissan at least 15 times. The dealer was only able to duplicate the failure a couple of times, but have been unable to make any repairs. The failure was brought to the dealers attention as soon as it was recognized. The contact wanted another vehicle, but the dealer kept stating that they would find and repair the failure. The failure continues to worsen and cannot be repaired. The contact filed complaint number 6080581 with Nissan. The current mileage was 36,000 and failure mileage was approximately 10.

In November 2004 I purchased the Armada 2004. I drove it to Florida in December 2004 and left it in my house. I left with the military until June 2005, I drove the vehicle several times until July 2005, in which, one morning I try to turn it on, the vehicle did not start and it sounded like the battery or starter was not working properly. The battery gage went from half way to the negative side and then back to the middle and once again to the negative side again. The control systems are still showing negative information of being off or on. I have not taken it in for a check up due to I purchase the vehicle in NY and I am in fl. I have to check with the NY dealer if I could take it any Nissan dealerships in fl. I will report back on any information from the local dealership. If any one has had similar problem post it thank you.
