Like many others, the brake light comes on, then when trying to brake, the brakes grind and act as though they are not going to stop the vehicle...I pull over when I see the brake light go on because I know what is going to happen next...Once I turn off the vehicle and restart, the problem goes away. I notice it more during bad weather which has me thinking it is some sort of faulty sensor for the ABS/Brakes. Cold, wet, snow, ice seems to create more problems for me...who wants the brakes to fail during bad weather especially. Because it is sporadic and not predictable, technicians say "well, if we do not see it, we don't know what to look for." How about checking the ABS SENSORS and other technical items associated with them.
Why hasn't Nissan listened to our problems and find a solution...this is not normal and not safe...First chance I get, I am trading in my Nissan for a smaller crossover - and not a Nissan.
