This issue first happened when I took my daughter to the movies and the car would not start after we returned. I tried to start it numerous times and eventually the battery died from trying so much. I called some family and had the car jumped and it actually it started. I started to learn that this issue happens once every few weeks and from Goggling the issue, people suggest you jump the battery and it resets the anti-theft issue I guess. Problem is that after doing this numerous times, because I do not have the $800 to fix, the battery started to die and once the weather got cold, then the battery would not even allow me to start the car, and it barely would allow a jump from the front of the car where the +/- leads are....EVER.
At this point, I purchased a battery jumper and noticed that If I jump the battery directly from the trunk of the car, then the car starts the first time once I connect the jumper to the battery. I am sick of this Altima at this point and need to fix this problem since I want to trade this in for something better. I have heard of everyone's issues and how 2010 and 2009 models now are being covered
