I got in 2 accidents with my 2022 Nissan Altima. On 10/12/2023 I back into a parked car at a local Walgreens. (I could not stop the car) Police came. I was able to drive car home. The next day I brought the car into my local auto body shop for an damage estimate. When I got home I was unable to stop the car again in my driveway and crashed into my garage door.
The local auto body shop came and towed the car back to his shop. The car is unsafe to drive .I have filed a complaint with Nissan consumer complaint, so far I have been getting the run around. They ask the same info. over and over. Complaint # is 49847642. I don't know yet if the car will be repaired at Premier auto body first, and then have Kingston, NY Nissan check out the codes. The estimated damages to the car are over $5000 have not got an estimate for the garage door yet. I purchased this car from Poughkeepsie Nissan in May 2023 I have only driven the car for 5 months (4000miles).
Nissan told me it could take weeks before they could look at the car as is. I have a rental with my insurance company (Hanover) for only 30 days. Prior to this I have not been in an accident in over 40 years.
Please help me if you can. I am probably going to need a lawyer. I definitely do not want this death trap car back.
