This bulletin applies only to vehicles equipped with the 2.5L engine.
IF YOU CONFIRM
The Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) is ON with Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0087 (FRP CONTROL SYSTEM) stored in the Engine Control Module (ECM),
AND
The fuel level indicates ¼ or less.
ACTION
Reprogram the ECM, if applicable.
