Brand new Altima with only 5,000 some miles. I first noticed noticed acceleration problems, there was either a lack of power or there was a delay in acceleration. No, it's not just because the transmission is a CVT, this is due to some other unknown issue. The check engine light was also on.
The car drove just fine up until this point. The car was in and out of the dealership four separate times for the same issue. Nissan worked at the wiring harness two different times and reportedly rewired it. the first time to no avail, the second time stalled my engine when I got off the freeway. A solenoid was replaced to no avail. A ground wire near the ABS system was reported to be loose, it was tightened and yet again to no avail.
The problem is still not fixed!
Update from Jan 30, 2020: This car is a lemon and has been returned. So after 2,000 dollars in "usage" fees, I am rid of the vehicle. By law auto manufacturers are entitled to a usage fee when you turn a vehicle in as a lemon. Hooray Nebraska law. Nissan was not kind during the recovery process and I will never do business with them again.
