I took my Nissan Altima to my mechanic due to transmission slipping, and after his inspection he returned a screwed up message, he says that there is a problem with the transmission that Nissan is aware of and has failed to notify me in advance of my purchasing it. (Built-in obsolescence). Or at least a RECALL NOTICE...
My mechanic informed me that if Nissan or the Dealer, who are complacent, would have notified me of this problem that maybe I could have avoided it. Now it looks like I will have to pay somewhere around 2000 to $3000.00+ to fix a problem. If that's the case I will no longer purchase any Nissan new or used, furthermore I talked my son's mom into buying a Nissan Rogue and apparently she can expect the same problems in her future and my son who is turning 16, I will buy him a car any car but never any Nissan car or product. This issue and complaint could have been avoided if NISSAN and from "NOT MY" the dealer in the future, So I could have at least made the choice (Red pill or Blue pill). So thanks Nissan for using your customers as unwilling guinea pigs for your testings.
