- Front Member Welds - Quality Assurance Hold ***** Detailed Information ***** Nissan is committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction. This commitment requires Nissan to periodically place certain specific vehicles on a temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold to assure that these vehicles, as delivered to our customers, meet our exacting standards and our customers? expectations. Effective immediately, Nissan is placing a temporary Quality Assurance (QA) Hold on approximately 408 specific MY2017 Altima (L33) and 152 specific MY2017 Maxima (A36) vehicles. ***** What Dealers Should Do ***** 1. Verify if vehicles currently in dealer inventory are affected by this QA Hold using Service Comm I.D. PC497 Note: Dealers should continue to check new arriving inventory for QA Hold applicability. 2. Please do not drive, sell, or trade the specific 2017 Altima and Maxima vehicles in Dealer Inventory subject to this QA Hold. 3. No further action is necessary at this time. Nissan will provide an update by October 28th, 2016.
