The contact owns a 2016 Nissan Altima. While driving 35 mph, the contact heard a loud explosion and noticed that the sun roof exploded outwards. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (valley Nissan, 1005 ken pratt blvd, longmont, co 80501), but the failure could not be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and advised the contact to call the insurance company. The failure mileage was 21,000.
