Altima S 2.5L

  • 7,700 miles

The car is rusting above the decorative chrome piece on the trunk. That piece hides the back up camera and also the trunk release button. Otherwise, I am not sure of its purpose. I noticed the rust when the car was about 8 months old and had less than 8000 miles on it. The dealer said it was a warranty item but suggested I wait closer to the end of the warranty to have it repaired.
