CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Nissan Altima has multiple problem trends including the CVT transmission, and now that this model is out of warranty, it earns our "Avoid Like The Plague" badge.
My current problem is my front passenger seat belt is not properly functioning. I basically have to manually adjust the belt to give it some tension. Normally when you apply brakes the seat belt react, but it doesn't happen unless It is manually adjusted when you sit in the car.
THIS IS ONE OF 17 RECALLS ON OUR 2013 NISSAN ALTMA. PURCHASED THE VEHICLE ON JULY 10, 2012, RECD CALL FROM DEALER ON AUG 10, 2012. WANTED US TO SWAP CARS BUT WOULD NOT TELL US WHAT WAS WRONG WITH OUR CAR. CALLED CORPORATE THEY FOUND OUT IT WAS AN OPEN CAMPAIGN ON THE VEH. WITH 1 POSSIBLE RECAL. AFTER WE TOOK THE VEHICLE IN FOR REPAIR, WE WERE TOLD THERE ARE 17 RECALLS AND/OR ISSUES ON THE VEH. THE CAR HAD 65 MILES ON IT WHEN WE PURCHASED IT. WE CURRENTLY HAVE 1569 ON IT. CANT DRIVE IT BECAUSE WE DONT FEEL IT IS SAFE, NISSAN WONT BUY VEH. BACK.
