Moisture In Lights
2013 Nissan Altima
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Nissan dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Nissan Altima has multiple problem trends including the CVT transmission, and now that this model is out of warranty, it earns our "Avoid Like The Plague" badge.
Owners complain about vibration and transmission failure related to the CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), a whining noise from the power steering pump, and constant windshield problems that appear to be the result of poor design.
Be warned: the 2014 & 2015 Nissan Altima appears to share these same problems.

new car for me bought in 2013 at end of year sale. The tail light was dark on the driver side compared to other, the led light strip of the indicator lights continue to fill with moisture and replaced under warranty 3 times. The interior dash and door covering seems to have not been completely finished at the factory as the surfaces scratch at the least bit of bumping and cannot be restored, they are scarred. Winsheild wipers have been replace as well numerous times the hole assembly because they do not clear windshield in Oregon rain storm. The windsheild seems to have a defect right in the vision of the driver as the new blades still don't wipe clean and the glass has a mark permanently there. This vehicle was in the showroom for several years with stickers all over the side and front glass, so this could be the problem. There is some vibration in the front console and at high speeds I must be very careful on keeping the vehicle on the road with the steering wheel. The back seats have a permanent mark and indentation from when I kept them down for transporting groceries. The leather is a leatherette, not real leather. the front floor carpet stops short just under the console and is hanging on with very little finishing edge. I feel this is a cheaply put together Friday weekend " manufacture and hope the mechanical does not have defects also.
