2013 Nissan Altima
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Nissan dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2013 Nissan Altima has multiple problem trends including the CVT transmission, and now that this model is out of warranty, it earns our "Avoid Like The Plague" badge.
Owners complain about vibration and transmission failure related to the CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), a whining noise from the power steering pump, and constant windshield problems that appear to be the result of poor design.
Be warned: the 2014 & 2015 Nissan Altima appears to share these same problems.

I bought my daughter a 2013 Nissan Altima SL in Dec of 2021. She was 16 yrs & 3 mo old. This was her birthday/Christmas gift. We have already been through 2 recalls on the vehicle. 1st was the hood latch, 2nd was the headlamps (which has still not been replaced and I am scared to death of her driving at night!!)
And as I was looking at recalls on her vehicle, I had seen where there were several people who had mentioned the floorboards being wet and corrosion under vehicle. For this problem the 1st time we noticed it was when she was cleaning her car out (as she does very often and looks brand new inside & out) she mentioned her back seat floorboard on the right side of her car was wet. The carpet is a dark charcoal color so that's why I did not add photos, you wouldn't be able to really see. But she was vacuuming it out and you could feel how wet it was. I had to use my Bissell to suck up the water so it wouldn't mold/smell & also put a box fan on a chair to help dry it out. This happened again just 2 weeks ago same exact thing & repeated the process of drying it. We checked for leaks from her sunroof, door seals, everywhere. There was no sign of a leak anywhere. There would have been water spots, etc. Nissan denied the lawsuits to the others for this same exact problem. Their vehicles were the 2007 models and up. This is a 2013. So something is definitely still happening in the way they make their vehicles. Something needs to be done.
