I can gain access to the front 2 drains tubes on the front of the sunroof. The 2 rear ones need professional help to remove the WHOLE interior roof material. Even then access is a PITA to gain access to snake whatever device into the holes to clear out. It seems there is a problem with daily road and life in the outdoors that builds up just inside where the sunroof rubber meets the edge of the car roof. I had a 2002 Maxima with the same kind of roof and NEVER had this problem! It seems a 2015 Nissan is having this issue too.
Trying to dry the car out is impossible as the leak continues even with the front 2 drain lines free, so it's now the back 2 which are impossible to get to without extensive labor and cost. All the water collects under the passenger side (behind front passenger seat) soaking the rug from underneath the front seat back to where the rug turns up for the back seating area. Right now the all the interior windows are moist with water vapor and by tomorrow morning will be frozen if the temp does fall to freezing. IT'S Always Fun to have to SCRAPE the ICE from both outside and inside your car. This is a PROBLEM and Nissan has heard of this before because my mechanic stated he's seen it MANY Times with the 2012 Altima.
Update from Oct 29, 2019: Here it is STILL HAPPENING and NISSAN saying it's an owner issue when the problem is a design issue going back to my 2012 Altima. Same problem and again the only way to fix is pay $6K and it still doesn't fix the problem because the owner has to do this 'Maintenance' all year long with no instructions in the manual or the tools provided by NISSAN! A piece of sh*t car that becomes worthless as the leaks continue.
This is our 3rd Nissan and we won't be buying ANY CAR WITH A SUNROOF AGAIN! NISSAN SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO HAVE THEIR NAME ON ANY OF THESE CARS.
