I purchased my 2012 Nissan Altima new, in April of 2013. Worst thing I ever did!!! I also purchased a $2000 extended warranty, 2nd worst thing I ever did. Less then 3 weeks after owning this POS, at a light the car RPM'S went to over 7000. That is in the red zone!!!! That has happened 8-9 times since I have owned that car. Every time they BS and tell me that they cant find the problem. The ;last time , about a week ago. They had a big time head mechanic from Nissan Corporate office meet me at one of the dealerships. He pretty much told me that it was impossible for me to be having the problems that I'm having. He pretty much called me a liar!!!! I also had another problem about 2 years ago with the transmission. I was driving on the interstate and all of a sudden, the car felt like it hit a brick wall. Then it would go 3 feet and stop. It would do that for the entire 2 1/2 hour drive home. The dealership said that a bolt broke off the transmission. They cant write that because I would not be covered the warranty. BS!!! They also ruined all 4 of my rims, when they rotated my wheels. They scratched them up so bad, They painted them and it looked like a 5 year old did the work. They said they were going to bring them back to new. While my car was at the dealership, Nissan hit my car!!! I was without a car for 2 months. This has been the woest buying experience in my lifetime. Nissan sucks!!!!!!!!
