These vehicles can suddenly become impossible to start thanks to a faulty electronic steering column lock (ESCL). Nissan dealers will gladly replace it, but that will run you $1000.

The unlock button that works when the key fob is near has become very intermittent. A lot of the time I end up having to either use the passenger side unlock, or take the key fob out and use the unlock button on it. The internal contact of the button probably needs to be replaced, but I don't want to spend money on it.
