Purchased the car in 2022, with 81k miles at $8500, 2 years later after changing the front passenger axle, transmission seems to not shift unless you hold the gas pedal for at least 5 seconds or longer, then the car launches. Reverses fine, but once its in drive, its game over. Currently looking at the cheaper option of either rebuilding or getting a used replacement. Replacing is roughly $1500 for a used transmission and at least $1000 for labor.
Update from Jun 15, 2024: Update: Mechanic suggests to scrap the entire car. Would cost $4,00 in parts and labor. DO NOT BUY NISSAN 2007+
