I was just wondering if they have been a concern with 2007 Nissan's, my air bag seems to come on and off when it wants to I didn't know if this was the way they work or if there is a problem with it. Because when some one is on the passenger side it goes on and off constant. I will put a date in, but cant be correct if it is the correct date but I purchased mine in May 2007 I noticed it about a few months later.
The contact owns a 2007 Nissan Altima. The contact stated that the front passenger side air bag light remains illuminated. He stated that the light should not be remain lit when a passenger is not in the vehicle. The dealer inspected the vehicle and was unable to determine the cause of failure. The powertrain was unknown. The current and failure mileages were 2,356. The consumer provided information from the owner's manual pertaining to the defect. Updated 02/01/08
