I bought this car in 2008. Had it for 11 years plus, have washed regularly, waxed, buff with dual action variable speed buffer to remove swirl marks, even clay bar to remove contaminants. About three years ago the clear coat started turning light and then peeling only on one side of the car. It has 136,687 miles on it and has been a very reliable car. The only thing that bothers me is the clear coat peeling off like cancer. What is the deal with Nissan paint? I have seen many other Altima's with the same thing happening. My paint is Sonoma Sunset (Dark Red).
