i took my car too autozone so they could run a diagnostic and it came back as 3rd gear malfunction. it said possible problems could be low fluid level, open or short circuit condition, check poor connection, failed solenoid. i have checked the fluid and removed and reconnected all connections to the tranny. i really don't have the money to take it to a tranny shop, so if anyone else has had this problem and found a solution please tell me. It would really help, thanks.
