I'd had this car less than a week when I noticed that the paint at the seam of the driver-side rear light was flaking/chipping off. With every car washing the area grew substantially. Contacted the dealership and they inspected it and then got in contact with Nissan corporate. They will be repainting the affected areas.
Shame to have to deal with sort of thing on a brand new car of this price range. And from what I was told by several people at the dealership, this is NOT the first time a Nissan car has had paint peeling issues from the factory. Seems to me they need to look into the problems there and do what it takes to avoid this sort of issue for their customers! I've always bought American cars in the past, this is the first Japanese vehicle I've owned. And I've never had this sort of paint issue with any of the American made cars.
