This Nissan 370z was kept in a garage and hardly driven. The car's soft top just decided it wasn't going to close completely, thus I drove it Casa Nissan in El Paso TX from whom I bought this vehicle from. Imagine the surprise when after taking two days to look at my vehicle they told me that the motor burned out and they couldn't replace it but would need to replace the roof too and it would cost 13,000 dollars. I'm not sure what the dealership is trying to pull. I told them that the car is only 4 years old and the car is not worth much more than this repair cost.
I called 1800-Nissan1 and spoke to their consumer complaints department where they told me that I would have to wait 3 to 4 more days for them to look into the matter. I told them that this my mode of transportation to work. They did not care that my car was still at the dealership and did not offer a loaner. This 370Z 's roof was always maintained and was in good condition. This car had been owned prior who had it for 8,000 miles, then Casa Nissan sold it to me . Now this happened just after, how coincidentally, the warranty was up.
Don't walk away from this shananigan's . RUN! Now I get to ride the bus to go to my office and to go get my car.
