For the past couple days, while driving, the clutch when pushed in sticks to the floor for a couple seconds before popping back up. The other day, I was in the middle of an intersection, unable to accelerate due to the clutch being stuck. I took it into Nissan and they have to replace the master slave cylinder as well as the master hydraulic cylinder, costing me a total of $1039. At 26, xxx, there is no excuse for this happening. I have heard countless occasions of this same problem and demand a recall or a refund from Nissan.

My cars clutch will stick to the floor for a second or 2.took to dealer and they said I need to authorize tear down to check problem(I need to pay).the car had 2500 mi on it when it happened before. It is intermittent. Car has 5,900 mi., know and it happens more often. Nissan customer service is looking into it because I won't pay for a problem that exist with this car. Nissans campaign id# P7252 covers cars like mine but stops 138 cars bye the VIN#.this is potentially a problem merging into traffic if you can't accelerate!

2007 Nissan 350Z clutch problem, the problem happened when I left the dealership, the clutch slips in traffic, after it heats up the poorly made product starts to slip. I thought about having it replaced because I have warranty but its a problem in all the 07 350Z's. replacing a poorly designed clutch with another poorly designed clutch really wouldn't help. There needs to be a recall on this!

My 2007 Nissan 305Z showed no previous signs of failure until the clutch pedal got stuck to the floor as I drove down one of the busiest streets in my city. This happened Saturday night 02/09/2008 around 9pm. Parked the vehicle at a friends who happened to live nearby and will wait until Monday before getting it towed to the dealer. (since dealerships are not open on a Sunday) many people have been complaining about the cylinder assy-clutch recall all over car enthusiast forums.

The clutch on my 2007 350Z is going out for not the first but the second time with less than 18,000 miles on it. The clutch constantly has a burning smell no matter how the car is driven. The throw out bearing rattles constantly when clutch is not enganged. This is becoming a safety issue because the first time my clutch went out I was driving on the highway and was just barely lucky enough to coast it off the ramp into a parking lot.

I was driving my 2007 Nissan 350Z with manual transmission, and my clutch was getting stuck. I did my research and figured out that there was a problem with the slave cylinder, or the clutch fluid, because I had run into people with the same problems. I then took my car to the dealership, and they had told me that there was absolutely nothing wrong. There have been more moments when I am driving, I shift gears, and release the clutch and give it gas, and it just accelerates more! this almost caused me to get into an accident.

While in rush hour traffic my clutch pedal stuck to the floor causing the car to fill with smoke and rendering the car temporally inoperable after a few minutes I pumped the pedal and was able to continue home. The next morning the dealer informed me that I had worn out a clutch in 4000 miles and they would not warranty my problem.

1) I purchased a brand new 2007 350Z, and after 1,700 miles the clutch pedal began to stick to the floor and lose pressure, the only way to get it back was to put your foot under the pedal and push up on it. This happened to me about 20 times, and in various conditions (highway/city). I had brought it to ira Nissan in woburn two times asking them to fix or look into it and both time they told me they could not replicate. 2) in early October I was driving home from my girlfriend father?S house, and the clutch pedal stick the floor. The clutch wouldn't disengage; it had no pressure no matter what I did. I was on roughly 70 mph on the interstate and I could not take the car out of gear to slow down. I literally had to force the car out of gear and slow down with brakes so the car wouldn't stall out. The whole experience was very frightening, if I had to for some reason actually speed up to move out of the way of an emergency vehicle or for my own safety I could not. After some investigation, I noticed that was no clutch fluid at all. A brand new car with less than 7,000 miles should no be running out of clutch fluid like that. There was a gas station across the street so we purchased some brake fluid pumped the clutch and it was ok. I drove it home, and the next morning the fluid was gone again. This time I didn't mess around I called aaa, and had them tow my car to Nissan dealership and told them it was coming. I also called corporate Nissan to file a complaint and start and official paper trail. 3) that next afternoon after the tow to ira Nissan in woburn (same location as the other 2 times) I was called by the service manager and they told me they can replicate and are going to have to change the entire clutch assembly including master and slave cylinders. The said it would take 3-4 days to get the parts and about a days work. It was all covered under warranty and I was actually given a rental car. But there is an issue that Nissan refuses to accept.

The car was driving normally and gave no signs to any type of pending failure. The 2007 350Z model year has some form of clutch deficiency. The clutch sometimes drops to the floor requiring it to be pumped up but can lead to stalling the engine or being stranded in traffic. My problem caused me to be stranded on the road in traffic until the clutch regained pressure and let me drive on. The problem is that after the initial failure the clutch randomly seems to lose pressure and causes it to be very difficult to shift into gear without slipping. The dealer claimed that they couldn't reproduce the problem and also claimed that there was no previous history of a problem although there are numerous documented cases of the problem.
