I was entering the freeway near a construction area and went across a very small bump in the road. The airbag instrumentation light begin to blink. I didn't know if the airbag was about to deploy or not. I took the vehicle to the Nissan dealer as soon as they had an appointment which was the first week of September. They did something to reset the light and removed the key from the airbag mechanism on the passenger side.
In December, I again went across a very insignificant bump in the road and the light came on again. I am being told that the airbag should not deploy but I am not 100% certain of that. I don't want to take the car to Nissan to pay another $120 for them to put a band-aid on the issue. Wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing this problem? If so, what are the recommendations for resolution?
