Re: Paint swelling and Peeling off Dear Mitsubishi Motors I am the owner of Mitsubishi ASX (2014) metallic black that have purchased recently from Arian-Motor central station. The VIN is JPQA143E20F801344. The millage is less than 3000 km. I notice a paint swelling and peel off with no cause and no object hit for almost the size of 0.5 cm2 in front of the engine cover (engine hood) on Friday (June 12, 2015) and on Sunday (June 14, 2015) I went to Karaj Mitsubishi Representative in Iran, while they could not help me, referred me to the central station in 8th Km of Tehran-Karaj Rd. to Mr Jahankhah (Engineering Department-Technical Expert). According to Guarantee conditions, the paint is under guarantee for 3 years and I have to report it within 7 days of observing the problem, which I have followed the notice condition accordingly. Now my problems are as follows: -The central station and inspection/engineering department did not help me. -While the paint has peeled off, they insist it is due to a stone, which I disagree, as the stone would not cause the paint to swell and peel off. In addition, there is no dentation or defect on the surface. -After a long time, which I lost my working day, there was no result. In addition, they did not give me any receipt of the claim and said there is NO SYSTEM for recording the claims!!! - For helping me, they called at least three main Mitsubishi representative in Tehran and NONE of them had the original paint for my car!!! -Finally, they could not convince me of the cause and could not help me in fixing my car and did NOT apply the Guarantee conditions for my new car. I even insisted a change of the engine hood part, but they declined. Therefore, as of my report here, my car has paint problem and please take action and help me in fixing my car accordingly. It is evident that such poor customer service, could be reflected nationally and internationally and show a bad service and leave a bad reputation for your business in the mind of customers and others.
