I have raised the matter with Mitsubishi and await their response. Initially the attitude of the dealer, where I bought the car as a demonstrator, was; Mitsubishi don't accept complaints about chips, (perhaps understandable) and flaking. After I created a fuss in the showroom, they promised to raise on my behalf. The car is a year old and is developing holes in the paintwork in many places.
