The car was delivered with scratches but they were not noticeable as car was not cleaned when delivered. After washing, the scratches were visible. It is like there is no clear coat on the car to protect the paint. I'm still fighting with Mitsubishi to cover it. They say it is something I did, BUT a brand new black Outlander on the lot that has never been owned has the same marks in the paint. They seem to focus on the chips rather than the scratches, and are using that as an excuse not to address the scratches and to avoid the issue that the new Outlander has the same paint defects.
