This problem happened 2 times at different times. The first time I was told the camera had become too hot to operate because the car was parked in a location where the sun was hiding the camera directly. The camera did not become available until the next day, even after driving for 40 miles and no sun hitting the camera. the second time it happened when I was driving east in California and the sun was on the right side of the car and the outside temperature was about 88 degrees (so no sun hitting the camera). The second time the cruise and crash mitigation system became unavailable for about 10 minutes and then it corrected itself.
