The contact owns a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander. While driving 50 mph on the interstate, the sun roof shattered without warning. There were no injuries. The contact spoke with the manufacturer and was informed that the vehicle was no longer under warranty; therefore, the contact would be responsible for the repair cost. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or mechanic. The failure mileage was 64,000.
