My 2005 Mitsubishi Outlander has been a great car, purchased at 5 yrs old with only 20k on it. [Proverbial 85-year-old previous owner, who rarely drove.] I've had to invest in new tires and shocks, and occasional tune-ups. But the most persistent problem is the "engine warning light" that has been coming on for the last six months, and nothing the dealer can do has fixed it. I spent $500 getting the emissions valve changed, $200 getting a new air intake sensor installed, and even a new gas cap. But, every time, the light comes back on after 8 to 10 days of driving. There's gotta be a solution, but the dealer can't find one. Anyone out there have any ideas??
