First time it happened, I went to turn the car on, it acted like it was going to start but didn't. Tried several times to crank, but all I could hear was the starter, the engine wasn't really responding. Finally, my boyfriend floored the accelerator while cranking and it started after about 20 seconds. He said it seemed like it was somehow flooded. Maybe a fuel injector problem, where it allows some fuel to leak into the cylinders while sitting and floods it. The same thing happened again about a month later, although I was prepared and kept cranking through the first time. Anyone else have this problem or can think of any solutions?
