The contact owns a 2018 Mitsubishi Mirage G4. When the vehicle was started, the check engine indicator illuminated. Also, the vehicle vibrated at 40 mph and did not accelerate. The vehicle was taken to nimay Mitsubishi (787-622-0200, located at pr-2 O, toa baja 00949, san juan, puerto rico) where it was diagnosed that an unknown cable was chewed up by rodents and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 44,800.
