The contact owns a 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer. While driving 70 mph, the windshield wipers failed to operate. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the windshield wiper actuator needed replacement. The vehicle was repaired, but the issue recurred and the motor failed. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
