The contact owns a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer. The contact stated that the recall notice for NHTSA campaign number: 16V458000 (suspension) was received on June 23, 2016 regarding corrosion affecting the control arm. The contact stated that the exhaust system corroded and made noise. The dealer diagnosed that the exhaust fell outside of the scope of the recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown. Updated 12/20/16
