Paint defect on black 2002 Mitsubishi gallant.

The contact owns a 2004 Mitsubishi Galant. The contact stated the dashboard separated and began to fracture above the glove compartment. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed that sunlight and heat caused the dashboard to warp and separate. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but refused to offer assistance because the vehicle was no longer under warranty. The failure and current mileages were 62,666.

I have a 2004 black Mitsubishi Galant that the paint is fading progressively..I have kept this car in the garage for most of the time..I purchased it brand new and noticed this problem approx. 8 mons. Ago..it is now fading on the trunk...hood...and side panels. Have read several articles and many websites and understand their are many with this problem...please let me know if you need any other information or if I can submit my photos of this problem.
